A temperate rainforest has majestically formed in the Blue Mountains at the lower parts of the sandstone cliff faces. The lack of sun and free flowing waters have led to a stunning collection of flora and fauna. Take in the sights of the beautiful tree ferns which trap the warmth in and keep the sun out. Also, we will see the rainforest floor is covered in plant ferns which look like the younger siblings. Walking through all the ferns are Lyre Birds, snakes, small marsupials and many other Australian favorites. This beautiful boardwalk elevates us up over the rainforest and allows the visitor to walk freely through this area during the blue mountain tour. The walk can be done at your own pace and has three distinct routes considering walkers of all shape and skill level.
